What is  assignment¹ 

Assignment  is a part of evaluation. A assignment is the work given to students either before the lesson or after the lesson  and it is a flexibly evaluation. It may be completed at home or at institute. Assignment is a sort of understanding or commitment on the part of learner. The students undertakes upon himself  the responsibility of carrying out the work assigned to him. Assignment should be brief, so that student will be more willing to try do it. 

ASSIGNMENT INCLUDE TWO TYPES
  

REPETITIVE PROBLEM : Repetitive problem are based on new work. Those assignment assigning problem on on several different topic.,the teacher provide varieties of assignment to the children which may interest them.  Those problems provide offer to the children many opportunity 

REVIEW PROBLEM :The review problem are that which spiral back over the skill and concepts learned in previous topic or lesson  there for they are also  called spiral assignment.  The spiral assignment  contains both repetitive and review problem  .

PURPOSES OF ASSIGNMENT

* To solve problems 

*To collect data 

*To solve side based on a proposition 

* To prepare illustrations for a topic 

To track out the background of a problem

# it should be stimulating and direct learning activities of a child

HOW TO MAKE AN ASSIGNMENT EFFECTIVE? 

@ IT must be motivate and clear all the doubts and misunderstanding .

@ AN assignment should not be a mere dictation of question but for its successful completion. 

@ it should be cooperative activity in which the teacher and student take an active part.
