AVERAGE , Definition of average

AVERAGE

 The idea average is not new to you .we will share following types of statement .for example-1. The average run earning of Salman khan in that year is 2000 core
    2: The average marks secured by Raghav is is 67%
      Average is a know n as mean
  average = SUM OF OBSERVATIONS/ NUMBER OF OBSERVATIONS.
       For example, if a man earns 40 rupees , 50 rupees, 56 rupees , 48 rupees and 46 rupees aon five consecutive days of a week, than he earns total ( 40+50+56+48+46)= 240 
   To find his average earning per day, his total earning is divided by the number of days, i.e average= 240/5= 48 rupee
      IMPORTANT FORMULAE
  **If average of n¹ observations is x¹ and n² observations is x², then average of total observations (n¹+n²) Will be = (n¹x¹+n²x²)/
                                                                    (n¹+n²)
   ** The average of first n multiples of X is X(n+1)/2 .
  ** The average of odd numbers from 1 to n is (last odd number+1)/2
   ** The average of even numbers from 1 to n is ( last even number + 2)/2 
    Example.1:- the average of 10 numbers is 7 . If each number multiplied by 12 Then , find the average of new set of numbers. 
    Answer:- . Since each given numbers is multiplied by 12 .
    Hence, their average is also multiplied by 12. The average= 12×7=84. 
   Example. 2 :-  THE average temperature of the first three days of a week is 40 degrees  Celsius and that of next three days is 42 degrees Celsius. if the weekly average is 40.5 degrees Celsius . What is the temperature of the last day of week.
      Answer:-  first three days =40×3= 120 
                      Next three days = 42×3=126
                       7 days Celsius = 40.5× 7= 283.5 
   Then last day of temperature is 283.5-(120+126)=37.5 degrees Celsius .
